MernLabs Ltd ("MernLabs", "we", "us", "our") is a web development agency registered in England and Wales. Our principal place of business is London, United Kingdom. We can be contacted at privacy@mernlabs.tech.
2. Data we collect
When you submit a booking enquiry through our website, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and the contents of your project description. We also collect anonymised, IP-hashed page view data through our server-side analytics system. We do not use cookies for tracking without your explicit consent.
3. How we use your data
We use your contact information solely to respond to your enquiry, schedule a discovery call, and send you a calendar invite via Microsoft Outlook. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for marketing without explicit consent.
4. Lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a service enquiry you initiated) and, where required, your explicit consent (analytics cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Data retention
Booking enquiry data is retained for 24 months from the date of your enquiry, after which it is deleted. Anonymised analytics data is retained for 12 months.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. You may also object to processing or request restriction. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mernlabs.tech. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
We use a single functional cookie to manage your consent preferences. We do not set any tracking or advertising cookies without your explicit consent. You may manage your preferences at any time via the consent manager at the bottom of the page.
8. Third-party services
We use Microsoft Graph API to send calendar invites when you book a discovery call. This involves transmitting your name and email address to Microsoft's servers. Microsoft's privacy policy applies to this processing.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
