Nevara Training is a comprehensive educational platform designed for adult learners and businesses across the United Kingdom seeking professional and vocational qualifications. The system offers accessible in-person and online courses spanning security operations, spectator safety, first aid, and business management. By connecting learners directly with expert tutors and streamlined booking systems, the platform facilitates career progression and skills compliance.
The provider needed to consolidate fragmented student onboarding, manual course bookings, and corporate group bookings into a single automated ecosystem. Synchronising transactional course purchases with external Moodle LMS enrolments and managing physical venue availability for classroom training introduced significant technical complexity. Furthermore, the platform had to securely handle multi-tiered payment options, including split deposit options, whilst ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
MernLabs engineered a high-performance web platform utilising a Next.js App Router architecture coupled with a flexible MongoDB database layer to enable rapid, scalable data access. To eliminate administrative overhead, we built a custom API integration that synchronises Stripe transaction states with Moodle LMS workflows to automatically provision accounts and enrol students. A tailored booking system was developed to manage live course slots and venue capacities, protecting class limits and preventing double bookings. Additionally, secure cloud storage via Azure was integrated to distribute digital learning materials, whilst Cloudflare Turnstile was implemented to protect user registration routes from automated abuse.
