MernLabs developed a unified Next.js platform that integrates multiple advanced language models, routing tasks depending on their complexity to optimise performance and cost. Simpler tasks like quizzes and flashcards use high-performance, cost-effective models, whilst complex assignments and step-by-step exam model answers are routed to specialised reasoning engines. A real-time token calculation engine records the precise cost of each generation to ensure billing transparency. To guarantee safety, a custom moderation layer automatically checks both prompts and generated content against a dynamic registry of restricted topics.
